There are four different tranducer types to be used with the Nor150.
Microphone

For measuring Sound Pressure Level, a microphone is the obvious choice. The instrument comes with a list of predefined microphones from the factory. Select the Predefined Sensor option to enable this list.

When selecting a microphone, several properties must be concidered. Though, for most measurements, the Nor1225 & Nor1209 will suit the needs. This combination support a wide dynamic range, and the Nor150 also support a level extension for measuring very high levels.

Vibration sensor

The Nor150 has a wide frequency response, and support low frequency vibration measurements. Please notice the IEPE option when using IEPE-type preamplifiers.

Line Input

A Line input can be connected directly to the instrument to analyze a line level signal. The levels can be shown with reference to either 1 V or 1 microvolt.

Outdoor microphone

A range of outdoor microphones are also available from Norsonic. Using the Predefined Sensor option, this range will be available for selection.
