The weighted sum frequency range defines which frequency bands are included in the calculation of weighted values (A/C/Z).
The center frequency of the lowest frequency band used for calculating weighted sums.
The center frequency of the highest frequency band used for calculating weighted sums.
Weighted sums include the A, C and Z totals. These levels are calculated based on the measured spectrum, using weighting. For most applications using sound intensity, A-weighted values are used for single-valued classification.
