There are 3 Digital Input and 4 Digital Output lines available on the 15 pin socket on the left hand side of the instrument.

The input lines are used for:
External trig
Start of Logging or
Synchronization of Instruments.

The output lines can be used for many purposes, e.g. indicating Overload conditions or critical activities in the instrument.
One of the output lines can be used as a master for synchronizing the measurement sampling in two or more instruments.

Special cabling is required to get a reasonable function when using these lines. A drawing of the socket is located at the bottom of the set up screen with a red mark indicating the actual pin. In case of doubt or trouble, please consult Norsonic or your local representative for help.
