There are four different storage modes in the Nor145.
The operator is responsible for the storing of the results after the measurement is finished. A dialog box will appear when closing the measurement or starting a new measurement to verify that you want to discard the measurement.
The measurement results are stored in the predefined directory immediately after the measurement is terminated - irrespectively of whether termination took place because the duration expired or because measurement Stop was pressed.
This is a combination of a storage mode and a measurement control function. When the measurement is finished, it is stored automatically and a new measurement is started. This new measurement has the same set up parameters as the first measurement. The measurement will continue repeating until the sequence is stopped manually.
This mode is similar to Repeat mode but it will synchronize to the clock.
An example: Assume the clock is 8:52 and a synchronized measurement is started with 15 minutes duration. The first measurement will then be 8 minutes and then the instrument will start the following measurements on 09:00, 09:15, 09:30, 09:45, 10:00, 10:15 etc.
We recommend measurement durations of a multiple of one hour or one hour divided by a whole number as the feature has been designed with this limitation in mind.
The Storage mode settings is found in the Measurement menu after pressing SETUP.
