You can listen to a sound channel or recorded files, and you can use the digital output signals to control other devices
The Digital Output lines are available on the 15 pin socket on the instrument. Tap on each item to configure them individually.
The output signals are 3.3V level compatible. The maximum output current per pin is 20 mA.
Pin number 6 holds a stable 3.3V reference signal (max 10 mA).
Pin 14 (and the housing) is digital ground.
The headset connector is a
standard 3,5 mm "TRRS" (minijack) socket. You decide to listen to a sound channel signal or to play recorded files in this connector.
On the I/O socket pin 11 is shared between AC out and a digital output. You can not listen to recorded files on the I/O socket. To reduce power consumption, the Analog Output should be switched off when not in use. A special cable is available for connecting to the I/O socket.
The Headset and the Analog Output have individual gain settings.
